Cost Estimation Department

The cost estimation department is one of the most important sections in design and construction. The specialists of LLP «Kazakhskiy Santekhproekt» carry out extensive work, ensuring — through the system of regulatory pricing and estimate-standardization documents used to determine the estimated cost of construction — accurate calculation of construction costs, organization, and financing:

• preparation of cost calculations (local estimates, facility estimates, consolidated cost estimates) based on design documentation of any project reliability level, defect statements, technical assignments, cost calculations for individual types of work and expenses, etc.;
• performing feasibility studies and determining the estimated cost of construction (new construction, expansion, reconstruction, modernization, technical re-equipment, and capital repair of existing) enterprises, buildings, and structures;
• increasing investment efficiency and optimizing the use of financial resources;
• technical support of cost calculations (local estimates, facility estimates, consolidated cost estimates) while the Client undergoes comprehensive independent expert review of projects for facilities of reliability levels 1–4.

During construction supervision, our cost estimation department participates in:

• reviewing the certificates of completed work, the commissioning certificate, statements of the cost of completed work, cost summaries, cost-of-completion summaries, cost calculations for any types of work and expenses, and other calculations provided by the General Contractor;
• analyzing and verifying the cost documentation provided by the General Contractor in accordance with as-built documentation, checking that estimates comply with design decisions and defect statements, and verifying the correct application of unit prices, indices, and coefficients.
